Adam Duesterhaus
Hello, I’m Quincy-native Adam Duesterhaus. Thank you so much for supporting music education in our area. Music has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. I began playing in the concert, jazz, and marching bands all throughout elementary and high school. I actually received scholarships to attend both JWCC and Culver-Stockton college for both art and music playing percussion in the jazz band. And now as an adult I’m lucky to get to continue this passion of mine by playing drums in my classic rock band Pepper Spray (available for bookings!).
Music was always more than just an activity for me. Its provided me a large part of my personal and professional career. It’s important that we continue funding this critical community service in our educational system. Through organizations like Encore, we can better offer our youth the resources and guidance they need for this life-long passion. |
