Monica Hinkamper
Monica Hinkamper is the Quincy Racquet Club’s Manager/Director of Tennis for 33 years and most recently, director of PiCkLeBaLl for the last eight years. She has been a USRSA Master Racket Technician for 30 years.
She has extensive community service having been member of the Chamber of Commerce’s board (Chairman of the Legislative Committee) and is a graduate of the Chamber’s “Qcy Community Leadership Academy”. Most recently she has completed her term as (Chairman/President) of the St Francis Solanus Pastoral Council. Monica has been married to Ric for 35 years. They have two adult children: Dr. Ashley Dietrich (son-in-law Dr. Peter Dietrich) and Ian (daughter-in-law Kaylee). They have a new grandson, Ender. Monica was raised in a musically gifted singing family. She sings soprano in her church choir and thoroughly appreciates many music genres. She knows that in order to be a successful athlete, one must also have a great sense of rhythm. While she does not play an instrument, she has great respect for all who have learned and share their musical gift with others. She enjoys attending many of her tennis student’s youth violin and piano recitals. Monica appreciates the work that Encore! does to provide scholarships and opportunities for students to further their musical studies. |
