Battle for the Baton, a Celebrity Conductor Contest, is a fundraiser for Encore!, the Volunteer Council for the Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association. Candidates compete through raising funds to conduct "Sleigh Ride" performed by the Symphony Orchestra. at this season's Holiday Concert. Battle for the Baton candidates will be introduced at the opening concert and reception of the season!
